Shipping Policy

SHIPPING

We aim to keep inventory of each pillow in stock so that it can be sent as soon as you complete your purchase. In the event a pillow is out of stock, please keep in mind that each item is custom made, and as a result, production can take up to 2-3 weeks. If you need an item rushed, please reach out to us and we will try to offer any solutions we may have. For art and rugs, shipping times will vary. Please see each individual item description for estimates.

All domestic orders will ship with USPS with a tracking number. Tracking numbers will be e-mailed to you at the time of shipping. First class shipments take 2-5 business days from the day they are shipped and priority takes 1-3 days, excluding weekends and holidays.

We highly recommend adding insurance to your package as we cannot be responsible for the package once it arrives at USPS. If you would like to insure your items, please choose the Route shipping insurance option during checkout. If something happens to your package and you did not insure it, there is nothing we can do to help unfortunately.

If your product will be shipped internationally, we cannot recommend enough that you insure your package for safety with Route shipping insurance. Insured international orders will be re-shipped or refunded in the event that they are lost or stolen. Non-insured orders are subject to the buyer’s own risk.

 

LEAD TIMES

PILLOWS
All orders will ship within 5-7 business days unless otherwise noted. Pillows shipped First Class take 2-5 business days from the day they are shipped to arrive, while Priority packages will take 1-3 days, excluding weekends and holidays.

ART
All artwork has a production time of 4-6 weeks. Due to COVID, lead times may be impacted. Once shipped, you can expect your artwork to arrive within 3-5 business days for domestic orders. At the time of your order, please note should you require any special services such as a lift gate, residential delivery, or if you have specific receiving days or times.

RUGS
Rugs have a lead time of 3-4 weeks unless otherwise noted. Due to COVID, lead times may be impacted. Once shipped, your rug will arrive in 3-5 business days.

LIGHTING
In stock lighting items will ship in 1-2 weeks unless otherwise noted. Due to COVID, lead times may be impacted. Once shipped, expect your new beautiful lighting within 3-5 business days.

BEDDING
Bedding ships from our warehouse within 5-7 business days from your purchase date unless otherwise noted and will arrive to you within 1-3 business days.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING 

Worldwide shipping is available with USPS First Class International Mail. To keep the cost of the postage low, USPS First Class is used without tracking service. USPS First Class International Mail takes a minimum of 2-3 weeks typically, but it will vary based on location. Tracking service can be provided by upgrading your shipment to Express Mail for additional cost. If you would like to use Express Mail, please contact us prior to placing your order.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENT CUSTOM DUTY 

Please keep in mind that any applicable import or custom duty and taxes imposed on international orders are the buyer’s responsibility. Please note that all shipping turnaround times are meant to be a helpful estimation, and actual delivery time may vary depending on the weather conditions, holidays, and other unforeseeable reasons. International shipping can take anywhere from 7-28 days. Please be patient with international orders. Although we do ship fast, the postal service doesn't always have the same urgency. We are not responsible for any custom fees that you may incur from your country or delays from items being held at customs.


Return Policy

 

RETURNS

We stand behind our goods and want you to be satisfied with them. We'll always do our best to take care of our customers. Our philosophy is to always deal with issues fairly and reasonably. Please note that large items like furniture cannot be returned, but if there is a problem, we will work with you to find an equitable solution. 

Cancellation: If you would like to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. After 24 hours, we will be unable to cancel the order as production or shipping will have begun. 

PILLOWS

We offer returns on all pillow covers with the exception of custom sizes not listed on our website. Please use our Return Form to start the process of returning your item. Refunds are made to the original method of payment, less shipping and handling charges (which are $5 per pillow). We are a small shop and put a lot of time into each order. Thank you for understanding.

All shipping charges are non-refundable, and all return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend all returns be sent insured and with tracking as we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged products. Please allow 7 days for your return to be processed.

Returns must be postmarked within 14 days of arrival. If we receive a package postmarked after 14 days of delivery we will not be able to issue a refund, and the buyer will need to pay for shipping to have them returned.

Once we receive your package, you will be reimbursed for your order minus the $5 per pillow restocking fee. Please allow up to 48 business hours for your reimbursement to appear on your statement.

Items received damaged will be refunded for all domestic shipments and if insurance has been purchased, for international shipments. Detailed photos showing damage to the item and packaging must be received within 3 days of receipt.

Returned items must be in their original, unused condition. Please ship returns in a padded envelope or insulated box. Shipping fees cannot be reimbursed.

RUGS

SHIPPING DAMAGE

All packages must be inspected upon arrival, and any damage claims must be submitted to the carrier. One Affirmation will not accept claims for any damage that occurred during shipping.

DEFECTS

All shipments should be inspected immediately upon arrival and any defects should be reported immediately to One Affirmation via email submitted to hello@oneaffirmation.com. One Affirmation will process an order for replacement upon the customer’s request and issue a return authorization (RMA) and call tag for the defective merchandise. One Affirmation will only accept a defect claim within 7 days of the date of delivery. If upon return, One Affirmation determines that damage is due to usage and not a manufacturing defect, the customer will be responsible for the cost of the rug plus all shipping charges.

RETURNS (NON-DEFECT)

No returns will be accepted without a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) issued by One Affirmation. All returns will be credited to the customer's account and refunds are not automatically issued. All shipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer. All unauthorized returns will be refused and returned at the sender's expense. One Affirmation will only accept returned merchandise within 30 days of delivery. There is a 20% restocking fee on all rug returns.

 JUJU HATS

Juju hats are made to order from our artisan in Cameroon and, therefore, cannot be returned. If the item is damaged when received, please notify us within 48 hours so that we can file a claim with the delivery service. After 48 hours, we cannot process any returns. 

ART

Art is custom made and production time is approximately 4-6 weeks. Final sale item. No cancellations, returns, or exchanges.

FURNITURE

Furniture orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of submitting the order. Once the cancellation window is passed, sales are final. Furniture is carefully inspected prior to shipment; if your item arrives damaged, please document the issues with photos.

If a defect is discovered and/or delivery is refused, please email hello@oneaffirmation.com within 48 hours to notify us.

Furniture that is refused due to size can be exchanged for merchandise or store credit only. Furniture that is refused for reasons other than defects or damage will be returned for store credit as a refund, less the original shipping and handling fee charges, a 20% restocking fee, and any return shipping fees that apply. 


FURNITURE SHIPPING & DELIVERY UPDATES:

Most of our furniture items will be delivered by a third party delivery service provider during their operating hours. Most in-stock pieces ship within 3-4 weeks of order receipt. Transit typically takes 7-10 business days barring any delays. Once ready to be delivered, a local delivery carrier agent representative will reach out to you directly to schedule an agreeable delivery time. Please note that backorder dates are estimates and are subject to change based on manufacturer production. Our team will provide notifications on impacted items as soon as we receive them.
