Cut from authentic African mudcloth, the Nala pillow cover pairs a simple brown and cream check with the rich, hand-worked texture that makes this textile so beloved. It is an easy, grounding accent for a bed or sofa, and a quiet nod to traditional craft.

Mudcloth is a traditional handmade textile from Mali. Narrow strips of handwoven cotton are stitched together to form a whole cloth, which is then hand printed with patterns and symbols using natural dyes. Because it is made almost entirely by hand, discolorations, pattern variations, paint smudges and pulls at the seams where panels join are expected and are part of its character rather than defects.
