3 oz bourbon and cognac
1 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 cups whole milk

Add all ingredients to a blender. Mix until combined, about 50 seconds.
Transfer to an airtight container and let it sit in the fridge to absorb all of the flavors. Serve with cinnamon sticks and nutmeg on top!

Mulled Wine

1 large orange
1/4 cup brandy
1 bottle of Zinfandel or Merlot
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
3 star anise
2 cinnamon sticks
3 cloves

Slice oranges into thin rounds. Place it into the bottom of a pot.
Add the brandy and wine into the pot, along with half the sweetener. Add cloves, star anise, and cinnamon sticks.
Allow the mixture to steam, reduce to low once bubbling, allowing it to cook for 10 minutes.
Serve in mugs

4 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar

Apple Cider
Last but not least is apple cider! This popular holiday drink combines fresh apples with mulling spices for a beverage that's great for any occasion. Simply combine the ingredients in a pot and wait as it simmers, then make your guests some mugs of this delicious holiday treat!

5 apples
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 orange
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 nutmeg

Add all spices, oranges, apples, and sugar into one pot. Cover with water and allow to boil. Reduce heat and allow to cook for 2 hours.
Remove oranges, mash apples, and allow to simmer uncovered for an additional hour.
Strain through a mesh strainer, squeezing all solids out. Get rid of any solids. Serve immediately.
